Scientific communities today are expected to deliver “actionable scientific knowledge” and therefore foster new ties with institutions, the labour market and the world of culture. Against this background, the PhD in Human Mind and Gender Studies sets out to detect vocational and cultural needs existing at local, national and international level in relation to:

a) higher education programmes in the field of research to be undertaken within academic institutes, research centres, public and private bodies (universities, National Research Council, marketing research agencies), or on behalf of communication agencies, newspapers, job centres, associations, foundations, public companies and bodies (e.g. Health units, local centres for psyschological and social intervention, libraries, schools, legal institutions, etc.), for personnel recruitment, human resources, educational and psychological intervention, diversity management, cultural mediation, communication and translation services.

b) higher training programmes (8th level of the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning) for the qualification of consultants, experts, managers in the field of psychology, linguistics, pedagogy and gender studies.
